Disneyland is well know for the fun and adventure of the many rides and attractions.  I just came back from Disneyland on the two day hopper.  One of the best rides turned out to be Thunder Mountain.  The setting is in the Red Rocks and the old west.  The ride is a roller coaster, which takes you through the red rocks. What a great time.  Then going through Sedona Arizona I Stayed at one of the Hotels in Sedona: the Southwest Inn.  From my Balcony I could see the real Thunder Mountain.  I disovered that the Thunder mountain ride was recreated from this beautiful town in Sedona, AZ, where Walt Disney would come to gather inspiration fo rhis movies.  The views from the Southwest Inn took my breath away as I watched the sunset of the red rocks and pink and blue skys.  To think I had just been to the greatest attraction only to later see the orignial inspirtation.  I am so glad to have experienced both Thunder Mountains.  I appreciate how beautiful Sedona is and that Walt Disney thought so too.
