June 2009-The National Park Service announced Tuesday that 147 parks, national monuments and other spots accross the country will have free entry during three weekends this summer. 16 of those places, including the Grand Canyon, are in Arizona and many are within driving distance of the Southwest Inn. Sunday January 19, 2009-The Arizona Cardinals are headed for the Super Bowl!! Yes, in one of the most exciting playoff games in recent memory, the Arizona Cardinals will be traveling to Tampa, Florida to defend their NFC crown against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Southwest Inn will proudly be flying the Cardinal flag.

Sunday, January 12, 2009-The Arizona Cardinals did it again!! This time defeating the Carolina Panthers, and advancing to the NFC Championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles, which will take place in Arizona this weekend.
