Check Out First Friday

Every First Friday, the Sedona Gallery Association hosts an incredible, free evening of art, wine and community. February 3rd from 5 – 8 p.m., take advantage of the city’s free First Friday trolley service, and hop from gallery to gallery. You’ll meet featured artists, enjoy special exhibits, and discover a smattering of unique art events. Receptions take place at various galleries throughout the city, giving residents and visitors the chance to enjoy light refreshments and see the impressive display of Sedona’s art scene.

All events are free, and the Sedona Trolley is also free throughout the districts except for the West Sedona Galleries (Goldenstein Gallery and Greg Lawson’s Passion for Place). However, West Sedona galleries feature ample parking. The trolley offers regular loops from the uptown galleries to Gallery Row.

What You’ll See

In Uptown, featured galleries include the Red View Gallery (the newest in the city) and the Sedona Arts Center. Red View is known for their Georgia O’Keeffe collection, Frank Howell’s work and RC Gorman. At the Sedona Arts Center, rare pieces of art, gifts and photographs are the star attractions.

Visit the Andrew Smith Gallery, Honshin Fine Art, Mountain Trails Gallery and many others at this festive monthly event. Every First Friday you spend in Sedona offers something different. Find a keepsake or gift at one of the many galleries to take home. It’s the perfect souvenir, and you’re supporting local artists, too.
