The Southwest Inn at Sedona, Sedona’s Premier Boutique Inn is now offering their “winter specials”—of course Sedona’s winter is truly magical, and much unlike other cities in North America: Sedona’s high might be 68 degrees, when Fairbanks, Alaska might be 42 degrees BELOW zero, or Sun Valley, Idaho might be 27 degrees BELOW zero; and, Toronto, Canada might be 23 degrees BELOW zero.
The Southwest Inn at Sedona has lowered their rates (except for holidays) for the winter months by 20%, which doesn’t make sense, because November, December, and January are 3 of the most beautiful months in Sedona. The only thing that does make sense about this “winter special” is our commitment to “enhance all of our guest’s experiences in Sedona”.
December reflects the end of the year: a time for reflection, and a pat on the back for a year well done; a continuation of the fall hiking with empty trails and incredible scenery; possibilities for stunning contrast photography on those rare snow mornings. The beginning of December is a time of “Illumination” in Sedona. While outside, lights are shining bright all over town, within we each have the opportunity to shine our own light and begin to make our resolutions for the new year. Sedona offers an opportunity for both inner and outer “illumination.” Visitors can enjoy the Red Rock Fantasy of lights at Tlaquepaque, the art show, “Illumination” at El Prado Gallery by the Creek or a tour with Evening Star tours. These are just a few of the many special happenings around town. In terms of inner illumination, even simply sitting in your Southwest Inn robe on your balcony you can enjoy the natural beauty that automatically leads one within. At this time of year one can’t help but notice the abundance that surrounds us all, whether it be in nature, material possessions or the love of friends and family. December in Sedona allows us the peace and quiet to appreciate this abundance and discover ways to share it with others. December is also a time for celebration in Sedona. Take a look at our upcoming events in December, and call us to show you why the Southwest Inn at Sedona is ranked as the #2 Inn for popularity in Sedona.
January, of course is the annual month for setting new goals, to establish a new course into the coming year, and to reconnect with past values. January is a very spiritual month is Sedona, but it is also much more than that: January has the News Years Eve celebration, followed by the Fiesta Bowl; and then onto the many activities to renew your commitment to this world by visiting the Southwest Inn at Sedona.
After celebrating New Year’s harmless annual institution, the Southwest Inn will move towards a New Beginning, with resolutions, and journeys to the area’s Vortex sites. We will then turn our attention and our spirits towards the remainder of the month, in which we begin to chisel ourselves back into shape: Rejuvenate yourself at the New Day Spa Jan. 4th through Jan. 10; and then check out the strength equipment at Sedona’s Racquet Club & Spa, or take one of our hikes, or bikes-followed up with a deep tissue massage with Henry. Get Fit during the week of Jan. 18th to the 24th–try the PF Chang Marathon, or ride the roads of Page Springs. Close out the month of January with Personal Power, by challenging yourself to set a new tone throughout the remainder of the year.
Please give us a call to allow our award winning staff to plan for your winter get-a-way.
