Grab your hot chocolate for a little extra energy boost, because it’s going to be a busy month! Sedona is full of Christmas happenings, starting with Hillside Holiday Saturdays taking place every Saturday this month. Here you can enjoy holiday treats, goodies and specials as you shop for gifts. Take a break and visit the Festival of Trees at Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village the first weekend of the month—it’s the perfect place to pick up one of a kind treasures from local artists, all while gazing at the display of decked out trees.

Tinsel Town at Posse Grounds takes place every Friday – Sunday this month and gives you a wonderful place to stroll through impressive light displays. There’s also Sedona’s Tree Lighting and Santa Visit at Canyon Breeze Plaza during the first weekend, which gives you the chance to join in carols, tell Santa your wish list and indulge in seasonal goodies.

‘Tis the Season

The Jingle Bell Run is a holiday tradition which takes place at the Sedona Teen Center with a one-mile walk or run in the park. Jingle bells are passed out to be tied onto sneakers, and Santa is on hand for photos. Join the big man for breakfast, arts and crafts following the morning festivities. As always, the Sedona Performing Arts Center is also putting on The Nutcracker, so you’ll have a packed evening, too.

The Annual Chocolate Walk on Main Street in Old Town Cottonwood is full of carolers that accompany you while you shop at 40+ boutiques, all with their own hot cocoa and handmade chocolates. There’s the Pilgrimage to Bethlehem at Tequa Marketplace, where actors bring Bethlehem to life with a living nativity, live animals and free hot cider.

Where will the season take you?
