Arizona has its own kind of Sonoran-infused, Mexican-fusion delights, but sometimes only Thai cuisine can satisfy. Fortunately, Sedona is home to three delicious Thai restaurants, including the macrobiotic-friendly Thai Spices Restaurant with outdoor seating. Known for an extensive vegetarian menu, generous sides and an evolving “latest inventions” menu, there’s something for everyone.

Try the shiitake and sea vegetables with onion butter, grapeseed oil and ever-changing seasonal vegetables. The fish curry fillet comes in green or red sauce with kachai (similar to ginger), authentic Thai herbs and local ingredients. The three herbs vitality with ginger, garlic and turmeric featuring your choice of shrimp, cashew and veggies is a must-try.

Thai Delights

Tara Thai Hideaway is well-named, as this little gem is known largely to locals only. Check out the Hawaiian delight with sautéed beef, onions, carrots, peppers and pineapple. Their pat raum mit features sautéed vegetables in oyster sauce with your choice of meat. From noodle dishes to seafood favorites, the hideaway has it all … including a Thai massage spa attached to it!

Thai Palace Uptown is a favorite with the spicy yellow curry dish full of potatoes, carrots, bell peppers, and your choice of protein in a creamy coconut sauce. Try the crispy tofu or crispy noodles for an appetizer, and the fried palace place banana for dessert.
